According to Mr. Pham Thanh Tung - Deputy Director of the Center for Industrial Promotion and Trade Promotion (Department of Industry and Trade), the "Bringing Vietnamese goods to the countryside" fair is an important trade promotion activity in response to the Campaign "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods".
In the context that consumers increasingly trust and choose Vietnamese goods because of their reasonable prices and guaranteed quality, organizing the market not only contributes to strengthening the connection between supply and demand but also supports businesses in expanding the market, bringing high-quality Vietnamese goods closer to consumers in rural areas.

The fair, with a scale of about 40 booths, introduces thousands of products with Vietnamese brands, hundreds of OCOP products, regional specialties, traditional craft products and typical rural industrial products. At the same time, the Organizing Committee prioritizes arranging exhibition areas for businesses and cooperatives in Vinh Long province. This is considered a practical solution to support the consumption of agricultural products, promote the province's typical products, contribute to promoting the rural economy and enhancing the position of Vietnamese brands.
