According to the report, in the first 9 months of 2024, the activities of the Working Group have had positive changes, completing 15/18 work contents according to the 2024 Work Program.
Notably, the Working Group has done a good job of advising on the 5-year review of the implementation of Resolution 43, and thereby, in May 2024, the Politburo issued Conclusion No. 79 on continuing to implement Resolution 43 on building and developing Da Nang city to 2030, with a vision to 2045.
On that basis, the Working Group proactively and actively coordinated with central departments, ministries and branches to advise the Government to submit to the National Assembly to issue Resolution No. 136/2024/QH15 dated June 26, 2024 on the organization of urban government and a number of specific mechanisms and policies for the development of Da Nang city with many very new policies, mechanisms and policies such as: Establishing a Free Trade Zone; piloting financial mechanisms; carbon credit offset exchange; attracting strategic investors in a number of semiconductor and artificial intelligence industries; policies on controlled testing, science and technology development, innovation, etc.
In the last months of 2024, the Working Group will continue to promote the implementation of Resolution No. 43-NQ/TW and Conclusion No. 79-KL/TW; focusing on diversifying forms of information and propaganda with focus and key points.
Continue to monitor and urge the implementation of 12 programs and plans on implementing Resolution No. 43-NQ/TW, the 2024 Work Program of the Working Group to ensure progress and quality. Strengthen the inspection and supervision of the implementation of Resolution No. 43-NQ/TW; at the same time, launch emulation movements at all levels, sectors and localities; select good models and effective implementation methods to promptly advise the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee to commend and reward.

At the Conference, members of the Working Group discussed solutions to carry out tasks from now until the end of 2024; discussed issues related to the content and progress of implementing the city-level scientific research project on "Research on key economic sectors contributing greatly to GRDP growth of Da Nang city in the period of 2022-2030 towards the economic growth target according to Resolution No. 43-NQ/TW".
In his concluding remarks, Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee Nguyen Dinh Vinh requested the standing agency of the Working Group to absorb the opinions at the meeting to perfect the Working Group and assign appropriate tasks.
Regarding the tasks in the coming time, the Working Group needs to focus on the contents related to new policies and guidelines on city development, especially Conclusion 79 of the Politburo and Resolution 136 of the National Assembly. The 2025 work program needs to closely follow the key contents and major policies.
For scientific research topics, it is necessary to focus on ensuring progress and quality, paying attention to issues raised by members of the Working Group from practice, especially those related to economic sectors.
