Delegates reviewed the traditions of International Museum Day and the achievements in the past time. Overview of the seminar.
On the morning of May 18, the Provincial Museum held a seminar to celebrate the 46th anniversary of International Museum Day (May 18, 1978 - May 18, 2024) and received donated artifacts.
Over 41 years of construction and development, the Provincial Museum has continuously researched, collected and supplemented documents, artifacts and images; gradually supplemented information and completed collections of unique and rare artifacts through historical periods; about the contributions of Thanh people in the struggle, construction and protection of the country and in preserving and promoting the value of the nation's cultural heritage. Currently, the Provincial Museum is managing more than 30,000 artifacts, including 3 national treasures, many rare artifacts and collections.

At the same time, the Provincial Museum has constantly renewed its activities, built many exhibition topics to best serve visitors to visit, research, study and experience. Thanks to that, over the years, the Provincial Museum has welcomed tens of thousands of domestic and foreign visitors.
This result is thanks to the contributions of generations of Provincial Museum staff in the work of research, collection, inventory, preservation, display, and dissemination, and the extremely valuable contributions of many collectors and individuals who have donated valuable artifacts and relics.
Promoting the achieved results, the Provincial Museum continues to enhance quality cultural heritage education activities and programs, targeting in-depth visitors who want to learn and research on national cultural heritage. At the same time, it will carry out well the research, collection, display and education of cultural heritage; strengthen digital transformation in the Museum's activities to introduce and display cultural heritage in line with the development trend in the coming time.

During the discussion, delegates visited the exhibition space at the Provincial Museum; the Provincial Museum received 26 artifacts and documents donated by 5 individuals. The artifacts and documents are antiques, spoils of war, badges, certificates of merit from the two resistance wars against France and America; gifts from Uncle Ho.
