On the Hanoi side, there were leaders of the Hanoi UNESCO Travel Club, the Hanoi Travel Association, travel businesses specializing in the international tourist market and a number of news agencies and newspapers in Hanoi.

Speaking at the opening of the discussion, Mr. Tran Quang Khang - Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Lai Chau province affirmed: In recent years, Lai Chau tourism industry has positioned the local tourism brand on the national tourism map with unique and quality tourism products such as: ASEAN community tourism village - Sin Suoi Ho; paragliding adventure tourist destination "Flying on the roof of Indochina" associated with the experience of Dao ethnic culture in Si Thau Chai village; O Quy Ho Heaven Gate tourist area, Rong May Glass Bridge tourist area; trekking and hiking tourism products on mountain peaks with the highlight "Azalea flower season". Currently, Lai Chau has 2 tourist areas, 21 provincial-level tourist destinations, 1 ASEAN community tourist destination, 138 tourist accommodation establishments.

The Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Lai Chau province hopes that through the discussion, it will contribute to expanding the tourism space, enhancing the image and brand of Lai Chau destination in the Vietnamese tourism market. The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism commits to always stand side by side, accompany, create all favorable conditions to support and share with Hanoi travel businesses in the process of building and implementing tour programs and tourism activities in the locality with the goal of "Business prosperity - Lai Chau development".

At the discussion program, delegates listened to the advice and evaluation of travel agencies specializing in the international tourist market on the advantages, difficulties and challenges in forming tour products connecting Lai Chau - Hanoi City; listened to the sharing of communes, wards and tourist spots in Lai Chau province on how to build community tourism, efforts to attract tourists, especially foreign tourists to visit and stay in the locality.

Leaders of Doan Ket Ward People's Committee shared about the existing tourist attractions in the area and hoped that travel businesses would pay attention and connect to bring international visitors to visit and experience.

Based on the sharing, consulting and evaluation, the delegates proposed a number of solutions to effectively exploit the connecting tour between Lai Chau - Hanoi City for the international tourist market such as: ensuring safety at Tac Tinh waterfall and Pusamcap cave; preserving the unique cultural identity of community tourism villages, limiting concreting in architecture and development space of the villages; cleaning the village environment, creating landscapes of attractive tourist spots to attract visitors; training tour guides to be methodical, professional and fluent in English communication...
