The inter-regional traffic project connecting Ho Chi Minh road with National Highway 70B, National Highway 32C from Phu Tho province to Yen Bai province has a total investment of more than 2,000 billion VND, invested by the Department of Transport of Phu Tho province.
The route is designed according to the scale of a grade III mountainous road, with a design speed of 60 km/h and a total length of nearly 54 km, passing through 23 communes in 03 districts: Tam Nong, Cam Khe, Ha Hoa.
The inter-regional traffic project connecting Ho Chi Minh road with National Highway 70B, National Highway 32C from Phu Tho province to Yen Bai was approved by the People's Committee of Phu Tho province on June 18, 2021.
This is a level III traffic project with a total investment of 2,120 billion VND, the project investor is the Department of Transport of Phu Tho province.
The route is designed according to the scale of a grade III mountainous road, with a design speed of 60 km/h, and a total length of 53.5 km (passing through 23 communes in 3 districts: Tam Nong, Cam Khe, Ha Hoa) with the starting point intersecting with National Highway 32 at Km81+380, the end point intersecting with National Highway 32C at Km77+00.
Branch line to connect from the main line to Cam Khe Industrial Park: Designed according to the standard of a level III plain road, design speed of 80 km/h and total length of about 3,083 km with the starting point intersecting with the main line at Km23+920, the end point connecting with the main axis of Cam Khe Industrial Park.
According to the Department of Transport of Phu Tho province, the project is supplemented with investment in building a road extending from the starting point of the main route (at km0) to National Highway 32 (at km76+150).
This section is still designed according to the standards of a grade III plain road and has a total length of about 3.9 km with the starting point at km0+00 of the main route and the end point at km76+150 of National Highway 32.
The route is expected to be the driving force, creating a synchronous transportation system, connecting conveniently between the northern mountainous provinces. At the same time, the route will connect the industrial park system of the districts: Tam Nong, Cam Khe, Ha Hoa, promoting socio-economic development for the mountainous districts.
On the afternoon of June 20, the actual records on the route of Giao thong Newspaper reporters showed that the guardrails on both sides of the road were solidly built. The route has two lanes and has not been equipped with a lighting system.
The sections of the route passing through mountainous terrain have had their slopes reinforced by the construction unit and drainage systems carefully arranged on the slopes and road surface.
According to the Department of Transport of Phu Tho province, currently from Km0+00 - Km2+450, the contractor has been constructing the roadbed for 1.89/2.45km.
Section from Km2+450 to the end of the route and 1.23 km of branching section: Basically open to traffic, meeting the plan assigned by the Provincial People's Committee.
