Quick statistics from localities show that storm No. 3 has severely affected the crop area in the province.
Specifically, storm No. 3 caused damage and flooding to 1,300 hectares of rice, 800 hectares of corn, 780 hectares of fruit trees and 300 hectares of vegetables; causing yield losses to about 250 hectares of rice and 600 hectares of corn.
According to Mr. Tran Van Thuc, Head of the provincial Department of Cultivation and Plant Protection, the impact of storm No. 3 could reduce productivity and output by about 500 tons.

Faced with the damage caused by storm No. 3, farmers across the province are now stepping up recovery measures by draining fields, tying up crops, and washing mud off leaves. In the next few days, people will begin fertilizing plants and controlling pests.
