Honoring 120 outstanding entrepreneurs and businesses

Ms. Nguyen Phuong Anh - Deputy General Director of Tan A Dai Thanh Group received a Certificate of Merit from the Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee.

Mr. Mac Quoc Anh, Vice Chairman and General Secretary of the Hanoi Association of Small and Medium Enterprises, said so at the "Ceremony to honor Thang Long entrepreneurs and enterprises" held on the evening of December 20 in Hanoi.

With the theme: “Capital Enterprises - Pioneers in green transformation and sustainable development,” this year’s Thang Long Entrepreneurs and Enterprises Honoring Ceremony emphasizes the important role of enterprises in innovation, creativity, application of environmentally friendly technology and implementation of social responsibility.

According to the Association of Small and Medium Enterprises, it is estimated that by December 31, Hanoi city granted certificates to 31,893 newly established enterprises, with registered capital of VND322,811 billion, bringing the total number of registered enterprises in the city to 406,297 units, accounting for about 1/3 of the total number of enterprises nationwide.

The business community and entrepreneurs in the capital have made strong and sustainable progress. Many units operate in the fields of industry and high-quality services, participate in import and export, and make positive contributions to the city budget.

Ms. Nguyen Phuong Anh - Deputy General Director of Tan A Dai Thanh Group shared: “Over the past 30 years, Tan A Dai Thanh's contributions to the state budget have been increasing. We have also been continuously honored in the rankings of the largest and most prestigious enterprises. In 2023, in the list of PRIVATE 100 - Top Private Enterprises Contributing the Largest Budget in Vietnam, Tan A Dai Thanh ranked 40th and led the group of private enterprises in the consumer goods - household appliances sector contributing the largest budget. Being honored at the Ceremony to Honor Thang Long Entrepreneurs and Enterprises is an affirmation of Tan A Dai Thanh's practical contributions in creating sustainable values for the Capital".

This year's ceremony to honor Thang Long entrepreneurs and enterprises also has special significance as it is associated with the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army (1944 - 2024), while also aiming to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the founding of the Association (1995 - 2025).

With 30 years of construction and development, the Association now has more than 10,000 members, with 28 clubs and branches in provinces and cities and 5 foreign representative offices.
