The General Secretary summarized the "keywords" of the Congress: "Unity - Democracy - Discipline - Breakthrough - Development - Responsibility - Intelligence - Dedication - Science - For the people - Strategic autonomy - Self-reliance - Self-confidence - National pride", for a Vietnam that is "independent, peaceful, democratic, prosperous, happy, and steadily advancing towards socialism".

General Secretary To Lam requested and hoped that domestic and international news agencies and media outlets would continue to pay attention to and promote information and propaganda work to contribute to bringing the Resolution of the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam into reality.
