In order for the Laos-Vietnam Friendship Park to become a precious spiritual asset, lasting along with the friendly relationship between the two countries, relevant agencies need to continue to pay attention, allocate appropriate resources, strengthen management, coordinate operation and exploitation of the project to ensure efficiency, worthy of the expectations of the people of the two countries. Vietnam commits to always make efforts to promote the implementation of agreed key cooperation projects, contributing to the common prosperity of both countries.

Chief of the Central Office of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party Thongsalith Mangnomek expressed that Laos and Vietnam are two close neighbors, with a special traditional friendship since ancient times, built and nurtured by President Kaysone Phomvihane, President Souphanouvong and President Ho Chi Minh, which has gradually become a priceless heritage passed down through generations, constantly developing, integrating into the region and the world.

Chief of the Central Office of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party Thongsalith Mangnomek, on behalf of the Central Party, Government and people of all Lao ethnic groups, received this meaningful project to continue to manage, preserve and promote its highest value; respectfully thanked and expressed gratitude to the Party, Government and people of Vietnam for their contributions of effort, intelligence and money to build this important project of historical significance.

The project is not only a symbol of the relationship between the two countries but also a place to organize cultural activities, relaxation, physical activities, sports, playgrounds for teenagers and the younger generation; a place to educate the next generation about the traditions of Laos and Vietnam.

The park has an area of over 30,000m2 ; the total value of the project is over 340 billion VND, of which the Lao Government's counterpart capital is 9 billion Kip (equivalent to over 10 billion VND) and the non-refundable aid capital of the Vietnamese Government is 330 billion VND. The project is symbolic, a cultural and spiritual gift from the Party, State and people of Vietnam to the Party, State and people of Laos on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of Laos' National Day and to welcome the National Congress of the two Parties.

This will be a red address, promoting revolutionary education for young generations to learn about the close history of the two nations, nurturing the responsibility to continue and promote the special tradition of solidarity between the two countries.
