General Secretary To Lam heads the Steering Committee for summarizing 100 years of the Party's leadership of the Vietnamese revolution, outlining the country's development orientation for the next 100 years, and summarizing 40 years of implementing the Platform for building the country during the transitional period to socialism.

On the afternoon of February 7th, at the National Conference on Studying, Understanding, and Implementing the Resolution of the 14th National Congress of the Party, Associate Professor Dr. Doan Minh Huan, Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics , announced Decision 05 of the Politburo, signed on February 6th, 2026, establishing the Steering Committee for summarizing 100 years of the Party's leadership of the Vietnamese revolution (1930-2030), orienting national development for the next 100 years (2030-2130), and summarizing 40 years of implementing the Platform for building the country during the transitional period to socialism (the Steering Committee). According to the decision, General Secretary To Lam is the head of the Steering Committee.

General Secretary To Lam delivered a speech at the National Conference on studying, learning, understanding, and implementing the Resolution of the 14th National Congress of the Party.

The Deputy Heads of the Steering Committee include: President Luong Cuong; Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh; Chairman of the National Assembly Tran Thanh Man; Head of the Central Organization Department Le Minh Hung; Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department Trinh Van Quyet; Associate Professor Dr. Doan Minh Huan, Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Political Academy; Professor Dr. Nguyen Xuan Thang, Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council. Permanent Member of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu is the Permanent Deputy Head.

The Steering Committee's tasks include directing the review of 100 years of the Party's leadership of the Vietnamese revolution (1930-2030), setting the direction for national development in the next 100 years (2030-2130), and reviewing 40 years of implementing the Platform for building the country during the transitional period to socialism; setting the direction for building the Platform for national development and defense in the new development era; and reporting to the Politburo and the Central Committee of the 14th Party Congress for submission to the 15th Party Congress.

The steering committee assigns tasks to its members and issues its working regulations; the steering committee operates on a part-time basis. Assisting the steering committee is an editorial team established by the steering committee.

The Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics is the permanent agency of the Steering Committee. The Steering Committee uses the seal of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam for its work. The operating budget of the Steering Committee is implemented according to current regulations.
