Senior Lieutenant General Le Huy Vinh, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Minister of National Defense , Chairman of the Committee for Population, Family and Children; Head of the Steering Committee for Occupational Safety and Health, and Fire Prevention and Fighting of the Ministry of National Defense chaired the conference.

Attending the conference were Lieutenant General Le Quang Dao, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army; Lieutenant General Tran Minh Duc, Director of the General Department of Logistics and Technology; and leaders and commanders of agencies and units under the Ministry of National Defense.

Delegates attended the conference at the bridge point of the Military Medical Department, General Department of Logistics and Engineering.

In the 2021-2025 period, under the leadership and direction of the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense, the entire army has comprehensively and focusedly deployed the work of population, family and children, occupational safety and health, and child protection, adapting to new conditions, achieving many positive results.

Notably, it has led and directed the entire army to strictly implement the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's laws, and the Army's regulations on population, family and child care, occupational safety and health, and child protection work; promptly issued legal documents, directives, resolutions, and regulations on population, family and child care, occupational safety and health, and child protection work; and created a favorable legal corridor for implementation.

Agencies and units have completed and issued the Operating Regulations of the Population, Family and Child Protection Committee, the Steering Committee for Occupational Safety and Health, and the National Disaster Prevention and Control Committee at all levels; flexibly and effectively applied them in the implementation process; built the Action Program for the period 2021-2025 and implemented it synchronously and effectively, in line with political tasks and close to the practical conditions of the unit.

The conference was connected from the central bridge of the Military Medical Department with 109 bridges throughout the army.

Information, propaganda and education activities on population, family and child care, occupational safety and health, and child protection in the entire army are maintained in a systematic manner, diverse in content and rich in form.

Organize many training courses to raise awareness for officers, soldiers and workers on population, family and child care, occupational safety and health, and child protection. Direct and guide agencies and units to effectively implement activities to improve the quality of population, family and child care; and effectively implement policies on population, family and child care.

Senior Lieutenant General Le Huy Vinh awarded Certificates of Merit from the Minister of National Defense to collectives with outstanding achievements in organizing and implementing Population, Family and Children work; Labor Safety and Hygiene work, and Occupational Disease Prevention in the period 2021-2025.

Lieutenant General Tran Minh Duc awarded Certificates of Merit to individuals with outstanding achievements in organizing and implementing Population, Family and Children work; Labor Safety and Hygiene work, and Occupational Disease Prevention in the period 2021-2025.

Direct, guide, inspect and supervise the implementation of the Party's policies, the State's laws and regulations of the Ministry of National Defense; closely combine proactive prevention with detection and strict handling of violations. The process of implementing tasks must be organized and commanded closely, specifically and meticulously, in compliance with procedures and regulations.

Senior Lieutenant General Le Huy Vinh noted that the organization and implementation of the Project to enhance the capacity of the Army Technical Safety Inspection Center must meet the requirements of performing tasks and the development of the Army. Organizing the Rally and Launching Ceremony must be close to the political tasks of the unit, creating changes in awareness and action and having practical effects.

In addition, promote the development of science and technology, innovation and digital transformation in the fields of population, family and children; occupational safety and health, and PCBNN according to Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW dated December 22, 2024 of the Politburo, in response to the requirements and tasks of protecting the Fatherland in the era of national development.

In recognition of achievements in population, family and child care work; occupational safety and health, and disaster prevention and control work in the Army in the 2021-2025 period, the Minister of National Defense signed a decision to commend 48 collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in organizing and implementing population, family and child care work in the 2021-2025 period; 128 collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in occupational safety and health, and disaster prevention and control work in the Army in the 2021-2025 period.
