This intensive inspection and monitoring campaign focuses on amusement parks, supermarkets, and shopping malls that are stocking large quantities of goods to meet year-end consumer demand. Authorities are not only examining the condition of on-site equipment but are also paying particular attention to the feasibility of emergency exit plans and signage systems.
Throughout the period, authorities will require businesses to improve their on-site fire prevention systems and maintain a sufficient number of personnel on duty throughout the Tet holiday. Areas with a high risk of fire need to be continuously monitored to detect any unusual signs as soon as they arise. In particular, for cinemas and entertainment venues expected to experience a surge in visitors, authorities emphasize the need to improve merchandise arrangement, ensure clear escape routes, and strictly control electrical systems to prevent short circuits and fires caused by overload.
In addition to inspections, the Fire Prevention, Fighting, and Rescue Police Department of Dong Nai Province also issued recommendations to facility managers to self-monitor heat sources and maintain safe distances between stalls. Business owners need to take the highest responsibility for operating electronic equipment and storing goods in warehouses according to technical standards.
According to the plan, the enforcement and reminder activities will continue to be carried out rigorously until the end of the 29th day of the 12th lunar month, with the goal of ensuring that people can enjoy a peaceful spring season and preventing any unfortunate incidents of fire or explosion in the area.
