The company increased the number of workers from less affected areas to the damaged areas, and from areas with electricity, they were transferred to areas with power outages with the goal of restoring power as soon as possible to serve the government and people, especially prioritizing key areas such as hospitals, medical stations, administrative centers, and schools.

In recent days, Da Nang Electricity Company has mobilized all resources to focus on fixing the 110 kV line problem caused by a landslide. This is the only 110 kV line supplying electricity to Phuoc Son district (old). With the efforts of hundreds of people, by 3:51 p.m. on November 1, 2025, Phuoc Son 110 Substation was successfully energized.
The company is currently checking the 22kV power lines and transformer stations after the flood. In areas where the water has receded and lines that are safe will be energized to serve the people. The team of engineers and workers use voltage meters, insulation measuring devices and specialized protective equipment to check the entire electrical system, instructing people on how to check electrical safety in their homes. For lines that are not yet safe, the company will continue to fix and energize as soon as possible, added Director of Da Nang Electricity Company Le Hong Cuong.
Prolonged heavy rain, widespread flooding and severe landslides have greatly affected the power supply situation in Da Nang city. Immediately after the rain and floods stopped, Da Nang Electricity Company proactively and quickly approached, closely monitored, inspected the technical infrastructure of the power grid and urgently implemented the most reasonable plan to fix the problem and restore power supply as quickly as possible to serve the people.
In Phuoc Hiep commune, the amount of water accumulated underground was too large, combined with the weak structure of the ground, leading to landslides in many places. The landslide in Phuoc Hiep commune caused pole 33 to fall and broke the conductors and optical cables of the 110 kV line of Dak Mi 4B - Phuoc Son Hydropower Plant, causing most of the communes in Phuoc Son district (old) to lose power.
As soon as the incident was detected, Da Nang Electricity Company established a technical team, closely followed the terrain, made a plan and prepared human resources, materials and equipment to restore the line as soon as possible.
With responsible participation, on October 31 and November 1, Da Nang Electricity Company mobilized all human resources and equipment to fix the incident of the 110 kV high voltage pole falling.
At the scene where the 110 kV power pole fell and was being urgently handled, Mr. Tran Van Minh - High Voltage Grid Enterprise, Da Nang Power Company said that his unit belongs to the shock force of Da Nang Power Company, which was established at the beginning of the year to proactively implement disaster prevention plans.
"During this storm No. 12 and historic flood, we were asked to repair the damage to the Phuoc Son 110 kV line as safely and as soon as possible. The place we are approaching is mountainous terrain, traffic is cut off. It is difficult for equipment and vehicles to access to perform the desired construction, so we have to use manual labor and human power to move equipment and vehicles to the foot of the construction site to perform our tasks", Mr. Tran Van Minh - High Voltage Grid Enterprise, Da Nang Electricity Company shared.
On November 1, in the area of Phuoc Hiep, Phuoc Chanh, Phuoc Nang Phuoc Son communes, there was heavy rain, traffic routes continued to be eroded, making it difficult to transport materials and equipment to the Phuoc Hiep 110 kV high voltage power line pole. Thanks to the support of local authorities and local forces, the entire shock force of the Company such as the High Voltage Grid Enterprise, Hiep Duc Power Management Team, and additional shock forces from the regional power management teams provided timely support to implement the work according to the set plan.
Mr. Nguyen Huy Hoang - Captain of the High Voltage Grid Enterprise, Da Nang Electricity Company said, when we received information about the incident on the Phuoc Hiep 110 kV power line pole, we tried to approach the scene and made a plan to submit to the company's leaders for approval. Currently, under the direct direction of the company's leaders, we have deployed forces, vehicles, tools, and overcome all difficulties to restore this line as soon as possible to supply electricity to people in the communes in the area.
With the focus on fixing the 110 kV line problem of Dak Mi 4B - Phuoc Son Hydropower Plant, connecting the 110 kV Phuoc Son transformer station, being ready to restore power to Phuoc Son district (old), all units under Da Nang Electricity Company mobilized all their forces to fix the power grid problem caused by floods and landslides; checking to ensure electrical safety for the people after the water receded to restore power.
