British Prime Minister Keir Starmer held talks with Mr. Zelenskyy, French President Emmanuel Macron and German Chancellor Friedrich Merz at 10 Downing Street (London) to discuss this important issue.
After the meeting, the leaders called Ukraine's European allies, urging them to continue to put pressure on Russia.

"Decisive moment" for Ukraine and Europe
“The leaders agreed that now is a critical time and we must continue to increase our support for Ukraine and put economic pressure on Putin…” Mr Starmer’s office said in a statement.
Mr Macron's office said the meeting allowed the leaders to "continue working together on the US plan to complement it with European contributions, in close coordination with Ukraine".
Mr Zelenskyy said the current US peace plan differed from previous versions in that it now had 20 points, down from 28, after what he called some “clearly anti-Ukrainian points were removed”.
Mr. Merz said he was “skeptical” about some of the details in the documents released by the United States. “We have to discuss this. That is why we are here,” he said. “The coming days… could be a decisive moment for all of us.”
Mr Zelenskyy said on Monday that Ukraine needed support from both Europe and the US: “There are some things we cannot manage without the Americans, things we cannot manage without Europe, and that is why we need to make some important decisions.”
Multi-level negotiations on the war
Earlier, in an interview with reporters on Sunday evening, US President Donald Trump expressed frustration with Mr. Zelenskyy, complaining that the Ukrainian leader “hasn’t read the proposal yet.”
US and Ukrainian negotiators also completed three days of talks on Saturday aimed at narrowing differences over the Trump administration's peace proposal.
A key part of the plan is a proposal for Kiev to cede control of the Donbas region in eastern Ukraine to Russia. Ukraine and its European allies have opposed the idea of territorial concessions.

Immediately after meeting with British, French and German leaders in London, Mr. Zelenskyy left for Brussels to hold negotiations with European Union and NATO leaders on the evening of December 8.
The President of Ukraine held meetings and talks with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, as well as joint talks with European Council President António Costa and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen.
In a post on social media X later, Mr Zelenskyy said he had “discussed in detail our work with our American partners on steps towards peace, security guarantees, and strengthening our resilience”.
