Ho Chi Minh City has 3 new Vice Chairmen of the People's Committee

Deputy Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission of the City Party Committee Hoang Nguyen Dinh, Director of the Department of Finance Nguyen Cong Vinh, and Chief Inspector Tran Van Bay were elected as Vice Chairmen of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee.

On November 14, at the 5th session of the 10th Ho Chi Minh City People's Council, term 2021-2026, delegates elected the position of Vice Chairman of the 10th Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, term 2021-2026 and dismissed Permanent Vice Chairman Nguyen Van Tho.

As a result, Mr. Hoang Nguyen Dinh, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, was elected with 149/161 votes, reaching a rate of 92.55%. Mr. Nguyen Cong Vinh, Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Finance, was elected with 159/161 votes, reaching a rate of 98.76%. Mr. Tran Van Bay, Chief Inspector of Ho Chi Minh City, was elected with 160/161 votes, reaching a rate of 99.38%.

Thus, with the additional election, the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee currently has: Chairman of the People's Committee Nguyen Van Duoc and 9 Vice Chairmen including Mr. and Mrs. Nguyen Loc Ha, Nguyen Van Dung, Nguyen Manh Cuong, Bui Xuan Cuong, Bui Minh Thanh, Hoang Nguyen Dinh, Nguyen Cong Vinh, Tran Van Bay, Tran Thi Dieu Thuy.

Mr. Hoang Nguyen Dinh, born in 1980, from Hue City, has a Bachelor of Law, Master of Road and Bridge Construction, and Senior Political Theory. Before working at the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee after the merger, he held many positions in the former Ba Ria - Vung Tau province such as: Director of the Provincial Transport Project Management Board, Chairman of the Board of Directors and General Director of the Provincial Transport Construction Joint Stock Company, Deputy Director of the Provincial Department of Transport.

Mr. Nguyen Cong Vinh was born in 1972, from the old Ba Ria - Vung Tau province, with a Bachelor of Law degree and a Master's degree in Political Theory. He held many positions in the old Ba Ria - Vung Tau province such as Chief of Office of the People's Council - People's Committee, Vice Chairman, Chairman of the People's Committee of the old Chau Duc district, Director of the Department of Planning and Investment of the province; Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of the old Ba Ria - Vung Tau province. From July 1, after the merger, Mr. Nguyen Cong Vinh became the new Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Finance.

Mr. Tran Van Bay was born in 1971, from Dong Nai , has a Master's degree in Law, and a Senior degree in Political Theory. He used to work at Ho Chi Minh City University of Law, Ho Chi Minh City Department of Justice and held many positions: Chairman of the People's Committee of District 9, Deputy Director of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment of Ho Chi Minh City; Chief Inspector of Ho Chi Minh City.
