Ho Chi Minh City leads the country in English in the 2024 high school graduation exam

According to the 2024 high school graduation exam score data, there are 10 localities leading in average English scores, including: Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong, Ba Ria-Vung Tau, Hanoi, Da Nang, Vinh Phuc, Hai Phong, Bac Ninh, Nam Dinh , Ninh Binh.

Thus, this is the 8th year that Ho Chi Minh City has continuously led in the average score of English in the high school graduation exam. Of the 565 candidates who scored 10 points in English nationwide, Ho Chi Minh City has 137 candidates.

After the high school graduation exam scores were released, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training also announced the score distribution of the subjects of about 84,000 candidates (excluding independent candidates) participating in this year's exam.

In literature, 12 candidates achieved the highest score of 9.5 points and the score range was from 6 to 7.5 points.

In math, 8 candidates achieved the highest score of 9.8 points and the score range was from 6.6 to 8.2.

In English, 71,442 candidates participated (because about 13,000 candidates were exempted from this foreign language exam), of which 137 candidates scored 10 points, with the score range from 7.6 to 9 points.

In physics, 5 candidates achieved the maximum score and the score range was from 6.75 to 8.

In chemistry, 106 candidates achieved the maximum score and the score range was between 6 and 7.5.

In biology, 5 candidates achieved the maximum score and the score range was from 5.5 to 7.25.

In history, 33 candidates scored 10 points and the score range was from 5.75 to 7.5.

In geography, 24 candidates achieved the maximum score and the score range was from 6.5 to 8.5.

In the subject of civics, 115 candidates achieved the maximum score and the score range was from 7.5 to 9.5.

The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training also announced that candidates can submit applications for exam review from July 17 to 26.

No later than July 23, high schools will issue temporary graduation certificates, print and send exam result certificates to candidates.

The whole country has no candidate who scored 10 points in math in the 2024 high school graduation exam.

In the 2024 high school graduation exam taking place at the end of June, Ho Chi Minh City has about 90,000 candidates participating, including 74,542 high school candidates; 9,735 candidates from the GDTX system and 5,785 independent candidates.
