On the evening of November 27, together with the World Economic Forum (WEF), the Ho Chi Minh City Center for the Fourth Industrial Revolution (HCMC C4IR) announced an initiative on the annual connection program of C4IR networks called "Elite of Saigon: Common home of the global C4IR network".
The initiative opens a framework for deeper coordination between Ho Chi Minh City and the network of global innovation centers, with the expectation of promoting resource sharing activities, exchanging experts and implementing technology initiatives to serve the city's development goals.
The initiative was announced at the "Global C4IR Networking Night" event, within the framework of the Autumn Economic Forum 2025.
The event aims to strengthen bilateral and multilateral cooperation between Ho Chi Minh City and the network of Centers for the Fourth Industrial Revolution (C4IR) worldwide , promote resource sharing, expert exchange and deploy technology initiatives to serve the city's development goals.
Held on the Elite of Saigon yacht, the event brought together WEF representatives, leaders of 11 C4IR Centers, along with more than 40 innovation centers and international institutes and schools, leading experts and large corporations in Vietnam.
In the context of green transformation and digital transformation reshaping the economy, HCMC C4IR plays a key bridging role, providing scientific basis and policy recommendations to help the city build pilot models and perfect the innovation governance framework.
Strengthening cooperation with the global C4IR network has become an urgent requirement, focusing on three key areas: promoting strategic cooperation with WEF and international partners; building breakthrough policies to support sustainable technology and develop high-quality human resources; and creating a bridge for businesses, especially SMEs and technology startups, to access the global innovation ecosystem.
The highlight of the program is the "C4IR Global Spotlight" activity, where international C4IR centers share perspectives, lessons learned and strategic directions from models deployed globally.
These exchanges help open up practical suggestions in building experimental policies, cooperating in technology transfer and developing highly applicable innovation models in Ho Chi Minh City.
