The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training has just announced for the second time to all educational institutions about collecting educational statistical data for the first semester of the 2025-2026 school year and preparing for enrollment for the 2026-2027 school year.
According to the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training, on October 15, the department sent out its first official dispatch on this matter. Accordingly, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training reminded units to urgently review and direct relevant departments to correct shortcomings, problems, update and supplement; and complete the required contents before October 16. However, as of October 24, many units have not yet submitted statistical reports for the beginning of the 2025-2026 school year and reported on facilities to the database system.

The Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City requested heads of units to urgently review and direct relevant departments to overcome shortcomings and problems, update, supplement, and complete the content as required.
The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training will use statistical data on the database system as a basis for managing enrollment, building budget estimates, and implementing tasks and policies for educational institutions in the area.
In order for the system to generate accurate reports, units must enter complete information. Heads of educational institutions are responsible for checking the accuracy of reports and statistical data before sending.
The HCM City Department of Education and Training noted that the statistical reports sent to the department must be consistent with the copies kept at the unit and on the database system. The department will have a plan to inspect and strictly handle units that do not implement or do not fully or promptly implement the requirements.
