The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Food Safety said that from July 15 to 31, it will organize online training for food safety officers in 167 wards/communes and 1 special zone, via the Zoom platform, live-streamed from the headquarters of the Department of Food Safety to 168 locations.
The training content is quite diverse, focusing on updating the system of legal documents on food safety; instructions on granting food safety certificates; instructions on self-declaration documents, registration of declarations and management of food advertising; implementation of traceability projects, sampling for hazard monitoring...
The Department of Food Safety coordinated with the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City to organize 7 direct training courses for leaders and medical staff of schools from kindergartens, primary schools, secondary schools, high schools, international schools, continuing education centers and units under the Department of Education and Training.
In addition, on July 17, the Ho Chi Minh City Food Safety Management Department will coordinate with the Center for Dormitory and Urban Area Management of Ho Chi Minh City National University to organize separate training for food processing staff in kitchens and canteens, to prevent the risk of food poisoning among boarding students.
