Speaking at the opening of the Conference, Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ho Chi Minh City Tran The Thuan said: "The conference on training and fostering professional skills in cultural and sports work in 2025 aims to exchange and guide knowledge and professional skills for the team of cadres and civil servants in charge of cultural and sports work at the People's Committees of communes, wards and special zones.
At the same time, promptly respond to state management requirements in the fields of building grassroots cultural life, family and preventing and combating domestic violence, advertising, festivals, fine arts, photography, exhibitions, karaoke, dance halls, cultural heritage, arts, press - publishing, electronic information, sports, etc. Create conditions for exchange, sharing of experiences, good practices to effectively serve the management and organization of cultural and sports activities at the grassroots level.
According to Mr. Tran The Thuan, the organization of the training conference must ensure the correct composition, objects, and content according to the plan, close to reality.
The training content and program are practical, suitable for the participants and requirements, ensuring quality and effectiveness, actively discussing and exchanging issues that may arise during the operation of the 2-level government model to meet the needs of practical work. Ensuring consistency in the implementation of operations at the local level.
The training conference on cultural and sports work in 2025 took place on August 7 and 8 at the Ho Chi Minh City Academy of Officials.
At the Conference, trainees will be trained and fostered in professional skills through the following topics: State management of building grassroots cultural life, building Ho Chi Minh Cultural Space; State management of family and prevention of domestic violence; State management of festivals, karaoke, dance halls, advertising, fine arts, photography, exhibitions; Visual propaganda and agitation work, skills in building, managing and operating activities of clubs, teams, and groups.
Along with that are the topics: State management of cultural heritage and naming and renaming of streets and public works in the city; State management of press and publishing; State management of electronic information.
Topics: State management of arts; State management of physical education and sports; Inspection and handling in the field of culture and sports; Instructions on performing tasks of the Organizing Committee of major holidays; List of administrative procedures under the authority of the People's Committee of wards, communes and special zones.
Trainees who attend 3/4 of the training sessions will be granted a certificate of completion of the training program by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ho Chi Minh City.
After the training course ends, the Organizing Committee will report to the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee the results of the training course and report the learning results of the trainees to the People's Committees of wards, communes, and special zones.
