
On November 14, under the chairmanship of the Department of Science and Technology of Ho Chi Minh City, the Ho Chi Minh City Center for Creative Entrepreneurship coordinated with other units to organize the Cultural Industry Startup Festival 2025, at the Center's headquarters at 123 Truong Dinh, Xuan Hoa Ward.
The event affirmed the role of cultural industry as a pillar of socio -economic development, and at the same time concretized the Cultural Development Strategy to 2030 according to Decision 1909/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister and the Project on developing Ho Chi Minh City's cultural industry to 2030 according to Decision 4853/QD-UBND of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee.
The festival emphasized the role of science and technology in spreading cultural values in the digital age. 3D, 360-degree, AR/VR, and AI applications were introduced as solutions to help preserve heritage and create vivid cultural experiences, opening up new directions for creative economic development and job opportunities.
The intersection of technology and culture is seen as a driving force for transforming knowledge, ideas and identities into sustainable economic value.

The event takes place from 8am and lasts into the evening with a series of diverse and in-depth activities, including a technology and cultural product exhibition with more than 50 booths, introducing interactive technologies and cultural products in many fields.
Presentations of 65 innovative startup projects under the INNOCULTURE 2025 and GIC 2025 programs to select potential projects to enter the intensive support phase.
In addition, the Vietnam – Japan M&A Matching program is considered a bridge connecting Vietnam – Japan trade, with presentations from 5 Vietnamese startups in the fields of media technology, advertising... and 5 Japanese investment funds, opening up opportunities for cooperation and attracting international capital.
In particular, two thematic seminars "Vietnam Culture Tech: Technology - new driving force of cultural industry" and "Culturetech and public-private partnership model in preserving and spreading cultural heritage"; conference on developing a network of consultants to support small and medium enterprises; along with training activities, music exchanges and traditional fashion shows...

Speaking about the significance of the Festival, Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Hue, Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology, emphasized: “Through this series of exciting activities, Ho Chi Minh City, known as a dynamic “startup land”, once again affirms the spirit of “dare to think - dare to do” to nurture the aspiration to bring Vietnamese culture and the City’s identity to the international level.
I believe that, with the harmonious blend of culture, technology and creativity, today's Festival will be the source of new values and new successes on the journey of sustainable development and prosperity of Ho Chi Minh City."
