This is one of nine key projects implementing the policy of transforming vacant land into public parks, increasing green spaces and community living areas, and contributing to improving the quality of life for urban residents in Ho Chi Minh City.

The 6-meter-tall "Water Drop" monument is crafted from mirror-finish stainless steel, with a heart-shaped interior – a symbol of gratitude and love.
The project was funded through social mobilization, with Sun Group Corporation fully sponsoring and directly constructing it. The project was completed after more than 90 days and nights of continuous work following a "3 shifts, 4 teams" model, with hundreds of engineers and workers working through the night to ensure it was ready for use.
The highlight of the park is a 1,800 m² circular square , featuring a 6-meter-tall "Water Drop" monument crafted from mirrored stainless steel, with a heart-shaped interior – a symbol of gratitude and love. The surrounding space is adorned with 9 steps, 360 water candles, and nearly 1,000 lighting points, creating a solemn atmosphere to commemorate those who lost their lives during the COVID-19 pandemic.



The highlight of the park is the 1,800 m2 circular square with a 6m high "Water Drop" monument crafted from mirrored stainless steel, inside which is a heart shape - a symbol of gratitude and love.
The entire system of ancient trees within the grounds has been preserved, the old villas have been renovated into exhibition spaces and libraries; at the same time, a sports area, community activity area, sculpture garden and spring flower festival area with nearly 30,000 trees, flowers and fruits have been added to serve the people celebrating the spring festival.
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Van Duoc, Chairman of the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, emphasized: "The park is not only a landscape project, but also a place to preserve memories and express gratitude to the people, soldiers, doctors, nurses, and all forces who sacrificed and contributed during the pandemic. It is also a symbol of solidarity, compassion, and the strong resurgence of the city."

The Chairman of the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City also stated that the COVID-19 pandemic was an exceptionally difficult period that the city will never forget, when many neighborhoods were silent, ambulances operated throughout the night, and thousands of officials, doctors, nurses, soldiers, and volunteers had to temporarily set aside their personal affairs and dedicate themselves to the front lines to protect the health and lives of the people.
According to him, thanks to the timely leadership of the Party and the State, the unity of the people, and the joint efforts of the business community and social organizations, the city has overcome challenges and is gradually recovering and developing. Support models for the people such as "rice ATMs," free meals, and charitable transportation services are evidence of the city's tradition of compassion and sharing.

On this occasion, the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee awarded Certificates of Commendation to 16 collectives and 4 individuals for their outstanding achievements in the implementation of the project.
