
The above information was announced by Mr. Phan Hong An, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City at the ceremony to receive support for people affected by storms and floods, which took place on the afternoon of November 12.
Mr. Phan Hong An said that from the beginning of August 2025 to November 11, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City and the Ho Chi Minh City Relief Mobilization Committee received 15,196 donations, with a total amount of nearly 225 billion VND and goods worth more than 7 billion VND (including 19,000 bags of family medicine, 70 tons of rice, 90 tons of goods and necessities).
Ho Chi Minh City has supported the localities in the Northern and Central regions affected by natural disasters and floods with all the goods received and 167 billion VND in cash to help these localities take care of people's health; provide medical support, disease prevention, stabilize people's lives and restore production.
The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City and the Relief Mobilization Committee of Ho Chi Minh City also spent 430 million VND to support people to overcome the consequences caused by storms, tornadoes, floods, inundation, and high tides in some localities of Ho Chi Minh City.

On the afternoon of November 12, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City and the Ho Chi Minh City Relief Mobilization Committee received registrations to donate cash and goods worth more than VND 4 billion from 17 units, agencies and enterprises in the City to support people to overcome the consequences of natural disasters and floods.
On behalf of the leaders of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the City, Mr. Phan Hong An respectfully expressed his gratitude for the kind heart and support of the units, businesses, and universities that have actively supported the people affected by natural disasters. He affirmed that all contributions will be used for the right purpose, promptly and effectively, and will be made public on the media and the Electronic Information Portal of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City.
