Ho Chi Minh City supports Hue and Da Nang with 35 billion VND to overcome the consequences of storms and floods.

(Chinhphu.vn) - On the afternoon of November 11, Mr. Nguyen Phuoc Loc, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, led a delegation of Ho Chi Minh City to visit, encourage and support Hue City and Da Nang City to overcome the damage caused by storms and floods.

Ho Chi Minh City has supported Hue City with 20 billion VND to overcome the damage caused by storms and floods. Of which, the delegation supported 300 million VND for Tay Loc Kindergarten to repair; gave gifts to 20 students of Tay Loc Kindergarten. At the same time, supported the construction of 2 houses (100 million VND/house) and gave gifts to households; gave gifts to 78 households in Tay Loc ward (Hue City).

In the afternoon of the same day, the working delegation continued to visit, encourage and support people in Da Nang city.

Ho Chi Minh City has supported Da Nang City with 15 billion VND; of which 800 million VND was supported to repair and equip teaching equipment for schools in Nam Phuoc commune (Da Nang City).

The delegation also visited and gave gifts to 20 students (VND 2 million/gift); gave gifts to 78 households (worth VND 2 million/gift). The delegation also supported the construction costs of 2 houses (VND 60 million/house).

Recently, in addition to financial support, Ho Chi Minh City also organized delegations to visit, encourage and share with people affected by storms and floods.
