Ho Chi Minh City supports Quang Ngai people to overcome damage caused by storms and floods

On November 12, continuing his working trip to the Central region, comrade Nguyen Phuoc Loc, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, visited, encouraged and supported Quang Ngai province to overcome the damage caused by storms and floods.

Accompanying the delegation were comrades: Hoang Nguyen Dinh, member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee; Nguyen Khoa Hai, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee's agencies.

In recent days, due to the impact of prolonged heavy rains, landslides and severe flooding have occurred in many areas of Quang Ngai province, causing heavy damage. With the spirit of "Mutual love", the tradition of solidarity and affection, Ho Chi Minh City always looks towards the people in areas affected by storms and floods.

Comrade Nguyen Phuoc Loc and the working delegation presented 10 billion VND in support to Quang Ngai province to overcome damage caused by storms and floods.

Accordingly, Ho Chi Minh City supported Quang Ngai province with 10 billion VND; gave 400 million VND to repair schools; and provided funding to support house construction for people (60 million VND/house). The delegation also visited and presented gifts to families in difficult circumstances and presented gifts to 98 households in Quang Ngai province (each gift worth 2 million VND).

Comrade Nguyen Phuoc Loc sympathizes with the people of Quang Ngai province about the damage and loss caused by natural disasters.

Visiting and encouraging people in Truong Giang commune (Quang Ngai province), comrade Nguyen Phuoc Loc deeply sympathized with the damage and loss caused by natural disasters and storms and floods and hoped that people in Truong Giang commune in particular and people in Quang Ngai province in general would overcome difficulties and soon stabilize their lives.

Comrade Nguyen Phuoc Loc visited, encouraged and gave gifts to support people.

Emphasizing the spirit of "HCMC for the whole country, with the whole country", comrade Nguyen Phuoc Loc affirmed that HCMC will join hands with Quang Ngai province to encourage, share and support people in disaster-stricken areas to soon stabilize their lives, restore production, develop household economy , and help students return to school soon.

At the same time, he expressed his belief that the Party Committee, government and Vietnam Fatherland Front of Quang Ngai province will lead the locality to quickly overcome the damage, support and help people in the disaster-affected areas to soon stabilize their lives.

People of Truong Giang commune, Quang Ngai province came to receive support gifts from the working delegation.

Expressing deep gratitude to the Party Committee, government and people of Ho Chi Minh City, Deputy Secretary of Quang Ngai Provincial Party Committee Dinh Thi Hong Minh affirmed that the province will allocate and use support resources effectively and timely for the right purposes to households affected by natural disasters and floods, helping people to soon stabilize their lives, children to return to school, and avoid interruption of their studies...

Previously, on November 11, the delegation went to Hue City to support 20 billion VND. Of which, the delegation supported 300 million VND for Tay Loc Kindergarten to repair; gave gifts to 20 students of Tay Loc Kindergarten. At the same time, supported the construction of 2 houses (100 million VND/house) and gave gifts to households; gave gifts to 78 households in Tay Loc ward (Hue City).

In Da Nang City, the delegation presented 15 billion VND in support; of which 800 million VND was provided to repair and equip teaching equipment for schools in Nam Phuoc Commune (Da Nang City). The delegation also visited and presented gifts to 20 students (2 million VND/gift); presented gifts to 78 households (worth 2 million VND/gift). The delegation also provided funding to build 2 houses (60 million VND/house).
