In Go Vap Ward , Comrade Nguyen Tri Dung, Secretary of the Ward Party Committee, said that the Public Administration Service Center has been operating stably, ensuring no interruption in receiving and handling administrative procedures. From July 1 to 19, the ward received and handled more than 1,800 records. It is expected that the 1st Congress of the Go Vap Ward Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030, will take place on August 19 and 20.
In Thong Tay Hoi ward , comrade Nguyen Thanh Thuy, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, said that the locality has 77 branches and affiliated party committees, with 2,513 party members. The ward's Public Administration Service Center has received and processed more than 1,500 records in the first 19 days of operating under the 2-level local government model. The ward Party Committee plans to hold a congress on August 20 and 21.
The Party Committee of Thong Tay Hoi ward has proactively organized meetings, contacted religious establishments, belief organizations, met with Party cell committees, thereby listening to their thoughts and aspirations and putting them into the local action program.
At the meeting, the ward leaders also proposed that the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee soon deploy the Electronic Authentication application on smartphones to perform digital signatures for people, avoiding the need for people to carry out authentication procedures and have specific instructions on authorizing the signing of documents and administrative procedures at the ward-level Public Administration Service Center.
In his concluding remarks, Comrade Nguyen Manh Cuong praised the initiative and sense of responsibility of the staff and civil servants in the process of operating the new model. He emphasized that the wards need to continue investing in information technology infrastructure, promote digital transformation, improve professionalism and quality of service to people and businesses.
Regarding the preparation for the congress, he suggested that the wards focus on developing documents with a development vision, linked to specific projects and works, ensuring feasibility and closeness to local realities. At the same time, do a good job of propaganda before, during and after the congress, creating a vibrant competitive atmosphere among the people.
Along with that, he reminded localities to maintain national defense and security, ensure social order and safety and said that he would synthesize recommendations and proposals, report to city leaders to promptly resolve issues, contributing to ensuring effective operation of the 2-level local government model.
