Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Construction, Le Ngoc Linh, said that in the context of climate change, environmental pollution, and increasingly rapid urbanization, planting trees is more practical and urgent than ever. Each tree planted not only contributes to improving the urban landscape, regulating the climate, and protecting the ecological environment, but also spreads a message about community responsibility and the awareness of building a civilized, modern, and sustainably developed city.

At the ceremony, leaders of the participating units planted 230 trees, including species such as Lagerstroemia indica, Lagerstroemia indica, Cassia fistula, and Terminalia chebula. These are all trees with beautiful shapes and wide canopies, suitable for the soil conditions and landscape of the area.
