Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City Phan Hong An said that the training content aims to provide knowledge on ensuring food safety and preventing food poisoning. At the same time, it disseminates legal documents to cadres working on the front.

Through this conference, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and socio-political organizations at all levels of Ho Chi Minh City coordinated with the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Food Safety to carry out propaganda and mobilize people to participate in food safety implementation.

Accordingly, it promotes the conscience and responsibility of food production, processing and trading establishments owners in strictly complying with the provisions of the law on ensuring food safety. At the same time, proactively coordinate to monitor and ensure food safety in Ho Chi Minh City.

At the conference, reporters from the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Food Safety disseminated regulations related to food safety.

At the same time, introduce safe food chain models, safe food market models; guide to trace food origin; communication work; prevention, investigation and handling of food poisoning. The reporters also guided on measures to prevent food poisoning; coordination process for investigation and handling of food poisoning.
