Ho Chi Minh City trains to improve knowledge on food safety

On the morning of November 14, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City coordinated with the Department of Food Safety of Ho Chi Minh City to organize a training conference to improve knowledge on food safety in 2025.

Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City Phan Hong An said that the training content aims to provide knowledge on ensuring food safety and preventing food poisoning. At the same time, it disseminates legal documents to cadres working on the front.

Through this conference, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and socio-political organizations at all levels of Ho Chi Minh City coordinated with the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Food Safety to carry out propaganda and mobilize people to participate in food safety implementation.

Accordingly, it promotes the conscience and responsibility of food production, processing and trading establishments owners in strictly complying with the provisions of the law on ensuring food safety. At the same time, proactively coordinate to monitor and ensure food safety in Ho Chi Minh City.
