Ho Chi Minh City donates 23 billion VND to support people of Cao Bang province

Continuing to accompany and promptly support localities to overcome damage caused by storms and floods, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City has just presented funds to support the people of Cao Bang province to overcome damage caused by storms and floods. Comrade Quan Minh Cuong, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Cao Bang province, and leaders of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Cao Bang province received support from Ho Chi Minh City.

Specifically, the Party Committee, government and people of Ho Chi Minh City donated 3 billion VND to support the people of Cao Bang province in overcoming damage caused by storms and floods, 10 billion VND to support the construction of a people's bridge and 10 billion VND to support the repair of Kim Dong Kindergarten.

Speaking at the funding handover ceremony, Comrade Nguyen Phuoc Loc, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, emphasized that recently, storms and floods have caused severe damage in many provinces and cities in the North and Central regions. With the spirit of "mutual love", the tradition of solidarity and affection, Ho Chi Minh City always turns to the people in the affected areas with the spirit of "The whole country for the beloved Central - North". Comrade Nguyen Phuoc Loc affirmed that Ho Chi Minh City provides support with focus, key points, according to the needs and actual conditions of each locality; ensuring timely support, in the right place, at the right time, and to the right subjects.

Ho Chi Minh City has also supported the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hue City with 20 billion VND, Da Nang City with 15 billion VND and Quang Ngai Province with 5 billion VND. This is the initial support fund for localities to equip rescue vehicles and equipment, helping people avoid hunger and cold and quickly overcome difficulties.

In recent times, Ho Chi Minh City has organized many activities to support people to overcome the damage caused by storms and floods in the fastest, most effective and highest support spirit under the city's conditions. In addition to financial support, Ho Chi Minh City also organized delegations to visit, encourage and share with the people.

Along with supporting localities and people in flood-affected areas, Ho Chi Minh City pays special attention to people in the city affected by storms, whirlwinds, high tides and heavy rains that cause damage to houses and crops.
