Within the framework of the program, on July 15, "Vietnam Summer Camp 2025" with the theme "Together we continue to write the story of peace " was organized by the State Committee for Overseas Vietnamese, Ministry of Foreign Affairs for delegates representing the young generation of overseas Vietnamese from Ho Chi Minh City to Dak Lak province.

On the third day of the Vietnam Summer Camp 2025, the campers, including more than 100 delegates, Vietnamese youth and students abroad from 31 countries and territories, learned about the history, culture, geography and economic development potential of the Central Highlands. In the evening of the same day, the campers participated in a gong cultural performance with the theme “Echoes of the Great Forest” performed by ethnic artists.

In a joyful and emotional atmosphere, overseas Vietnamese youth enjoyed many attractive performances by the Ede people, drank rice wine, experienced traditional musical instruments, sang songs about the Central Highlands, had coffee...

Vilatda Moungkhounsin (born in 2003, from Laos) said that this was her first time coming to Dak Lak . Although it was only a few hours, the people here were very warm and hospitable. When she arrived here, she had the opportunity to experience playing the T'rung instrument. This was a very interesting experience. After returning home, she will definitely introduce the land and people here to her friends.

Ms. Ngo Thi Thanh Mai, Vice Chairman of the State Committee for Overseas Vietnamese, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Head of the Vietnam Summer Camp 2025 delegation, said: The theme "Together we continue to write the story of peace" of the Vietnam Summer Camp 2025 is a call, inviting the young generation of overseas Vietnamese to join hands to spread the national values of peace, humanity, tolerance and aspiration for development. On this occasion, the Organizing Committee chose Dak Lak province to hold the opening ceremony because this year there are many major events of the nation. Dak Lak opened the way for the Spring victory in 1975 to completely liberate the South and unify the country.

This year's program is designed to connect history to the present so that overseas Vietnamese youth can learn about the land, culture, and history of the country and connect to the present to see the potential for economic development and the rise of not only the locality in particular but also the whole country in general.

In the Vietnam Summer Camp 2025 program, overseas Vietnamese youths will participate in activities across the three regions of the country: North, Central and South. In Dak Lak province, campers will participate in and experience many activities such as: Offering incense at Ho Chi Minh Square; charity, supporting ethnic minorities; exchanging and learning about gong culture; visiting the World Coffee Museum...
