Within the framework of the activity, students were introduced to the art of pottery shaping and the pottery profession of the Thai people in Son La, and watched artisans perform traditional pottery shaping techniques. The pottery profession has been maintained by the Thai people in Muong Chanh commune for many generations, creating durable ceramic products to serve daily life. Today, the pottery profession is still preserved by the people and is encouraged by the local government to develop production towards goods, improve modern designs, and meet user tastes.

At the program, students also had the opportunity to experience creating ceramic products under the guidance of artisans; participate in ceramic shaping competitions between grades, helping them learn and experience the traditional profession of the Thai people.

This is a useful activity to provide cultural and historical knowledge to students, gradually raising their awareness and responsibility in preserving and promoting cultural heritages in Son La province, contributing to the effective implementation of educational goals, innovating teaching methods according to the STEAM education model and local education.
