On December 9, at the Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam, the Center for Cultural and Scientific Activities of the Temple of Literature in collaboration with the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Hanoi and Nhau Studio opened the art exhibition "Forming Identity" by artist Minh Dam and the Gala Concert program of OSP Nadarzyn.

The exhibition was held on the occasion of cultural activities concluding the series of celebrations of the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Poland, contributing to promoting artistic exchange between the two countries.

At the opening ceremony, Ms. Joanna Skoczek, Ambassador of Poland to Vietnam, said: Over the past year, the Embassy of the Republic of Poland, together with its partners in Poland and Vietnam, has organized many cultural, educational, economic and artistic activities, honoring the long-standing friendship between Vietnam and Poland. Over the past seven decades, thousands of Vietnamese students have graduated from Polish universities, including those born in Vietnam but raised and studied in Poland, bringing with them a unique blend of two cultures. One of them is artist Minh Dam, whose personal story, shaped by his experiences moving between Poland and Vietnam, is beautifully reflected in the exhibition "Identity Formed", demonstrating that identity will not fade but be enriched when one belongs to two cultures.

"Forming Identity" is a large-scale solo exhibition by artist Minh Dam - a representative face of contemporary watercolor painting, with more than 20 years of creation from Vietnam to Europe. This time, more than 200 representative works are introduced in a timeline from 2005 to the present, marking the first time his two-decade-long series of creations are systematically displayed in Vietnam.

Within the framework of the event, after the opening ceremony, the audience enjoyed the Gala Concert of the OSP Nadarzyn Orchestra from Poland - one of the excellent brass orchestras in Europe, many times winning the Polish, European and world championships in marching and brass band competitions.

The exhibition is open to the public from now until December 26, 2025.
