VnExpressVnExpress10/08/2023

Ha Tinh The match between Ha Tinh and Hai Phong , 0-0, in round 6, phase II of V-League 2023 this afternoon, August 10, had to be stopped for 17 minutes due to an electrical problem.

In the 87th minute, when the score was 0-0, the lights at Ha Tinh Stadium suddenly went out. The stadium and Stand B were plunged into darkness, with only lights remaining in Stand A. Players from both teams stood chatting, while in the stands, Hai Phong fans turned on their phones and music to dance together.

After 17 minutes, the problem was resolved and the lights returned. Referee Le Duc Thuan gave the players two more minutes to pass the ball to regain their senses before returning to the game. Therefore, this match lasted until the 115th minute, the longest in V-League 2023.

Hai Phong seems to have a "fate" with power outages this season. Before the incident in Ha Tinh, Coach Chu Dinh Nghiem's team had to temporarily stop a match due to a power outage at their home stadium in Lach Tray, and once the TV color car lost power, causing their home match to be unable to be broadcast live.

The power outage was the biggest highlight in the earliest match of round six of group A, phase II of V-League 2023 at Ha Tinh Stadium. In this match, Hai Phong controlled the ball better, with 56%, and had 11 shots, only 1 more than their opponents. However, the finishing moves of both teams were inaccurate, not difficult enough to defeat the opposing goalkeeper.

Ha Tinh, after completing the target of entering Group A to stay in the league early, have not won six consecutive matches in the second stage. Before the draw with Hai Phong, they shared points with Cong An Ha Noi 1-1, Ha Noi 2-2, Thanh Hoa 0-0, Binh Dinh 1-1 and lost to Viettel 0-4. Coach Nguyen Thanh Cong's team has 23 points after 19 matches, second to last in Group A, with two more points than Binh Dinh but having played one more match.

Hai Phong has three more points than Ha Tinh. Before the draw at their opponent's field, in the second stage they lost 0-2 to Viettel, 0-3 to Thanh Hoa, 1-3 to Hanoi but won 2-0 to Cong An Ha Noi and Nam Dinh.

In the final match of V-League 2023, Hai Phong will host Binh Dinh while Ha Tinh will visit Nam Dinh on August 27.
