With a high sense of responsibility, in recent days, officers and soldiers of the City Military Command have urgently, actively, and diligently completed all preparations for the fireworks display on New Year's Eve of the Year of the Horse 2026. To date, all conditions have been fully ensured, ready to serve the people so they can enjoy the spectacular and safe fireworks display during the sacred moment of the New Year's transition.

At the Ky Dai - Ngo Mon area in Phu Xuan ward, Hue city – the city's high-altitude fireworks display point with 1,000 fireworks – more than 50 officers and soldiers were mobilized to carry out the task. Taking advantage of favorable weather, the forces organized and arranged the fireworks launch site scientifically and meticulously; connected the control system, checked the electrodes, power source, wires, and all technical equipment according to procedures and regulations. Every step was carried out meticulously and precisely, ensuring absolute safety.

According to Lieutenant Colonel Tran Quoc Thinh, Head of the Training Department and Commander of the Ky Dai - Ngo Mon firing range: To successfully complete the mission, the City Military Command organized training and professional development for the firing teams; developed firing plans and coordination plans with relevant agencies and units to ensure security and safety before, during, and after the firing. At the same time, forces and equipment were deployed on schedule; a temporary command post was established in the Ky Dai - Ngo Mon area to directly manage, direct, and promptly handle any arising situations.

The artillery pieces are being moved to their firing positions, awaiting the order to fire.

For the Lunar New Year of the Horse 2026, the entire city of Hue will organize fireworks displays at three locations: the Ky Dai - Ngo Mon area (1,000 high-altitude fireworks); Phong Dien ward and Chan May - Lang Co commune (1,000 low-altitude fireworks each), with a duration of 15 minutes. Recognizing this as an important political task, demonstrating the Party Committee and government's concern for the people's spiritual well-being, the fireworks teams, along with equipment and supplies, were present at the locations starting from the 27th day of the Lunar New Year, carrying out comprehensive and serious preparations to ensure the event proceeds according to plan.

By early afternoon on February 16th (the 30th day of the Lunar New Year), all preparations at the firing points were basically complete. The firework launchers were installed correctly and safely; the control systems, electrodes, wires, and power supply had been checked multiple times; and thousands of fireworks had been loaded into the barrels according to the correct technical procedures.

The fireworks display is ready, the forces are in position, determined to successfully complete their mission and contribute to giving the people of the city a brilliant, safe, and joyful New Year's Eve celebration.
