Entering the final round tied for the lead with golfer Sin Dong Min after the first 18 holes, Tran Le Duy Nhat quickly established an advantage with his consistent play and effective use of opportunities. He scored birdies on holes 1, 4, 10, 12, and 15, before making his only bogey on hole 16. His final score of 68 strokes, 4 under par, was also the best result of this year's tournament.
Meanwhile, Sin Dong Min failed to maintain his opening day form and gradually lost ground in the championship race, allowing Tran Le Duy Nhat to surge ahead and maintain his leading position until the end of the tournament.
Behind the champion, the competition at the top was exciting. Golfer Lim In Hwan and amateur Tran The Bao both finished the tournament with even par, sharing the runner-up position. Notably, Tran The Bao continued to impress by winning the "Best Amateur Player" award, marking his second time receiving this award in the Emerald Cup series.
Nguyen Van Quang finished fourth with a total score of +1 stroke. Meanwhile, Nguyen Tuan Kiet, Nguyen Huu Quyet, and Sin Dong Min shared fifth place with a score of +2 strokes.
With his victory in the Emerald Cup 2026 – First Leg, Tran Le Duy Nhat received a prize of 130 million VND for the champion. In addition, he was awarded the "Daily Best Score" prize worth 10 million VND by sponsor CAM ON for the golfer with the best round of the day.
Sharing his thoughts after the victory, Tran Le Duy Nhat expressed his joy at continuing his successful conquest of the Emerald Country Club. “I am very happy to win the championship here for the fifth time. Although my putting wasn't the best over the past two days, I was fortunate to minimize errors in my shots from tee to green,” he said.
The golfer, born in 1989, also affirmed his special connection to this course, regularly practicing at Emerald Country Club. "This can be considered my home course. Whenever a tournament is held here, I always want to participate and always aim to compete for the championship," Tran Le Duy Nhat added.
