Equipping knowledge and skills to propagate law in ethnic minority and mountainous areas

On the afternoon of September 16, the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions held a training conference on dissemination, legal education, and propaganda and mobilization for ethnic minority and mountainous areas (EM&MN) in Tay Son commune.

150 delegates are commune leaders; cadres and civil servants working on ethnic affairs; cadres, civil servants and public employees assigned to disseminate legal education and propaganda, mobilize ethnic minority and mountainous people; Party cell secretaries and deputy secretaries; village and hamlet heads and deputy heads; village and hamlet fronts and unions; village elders, prestigious people, and typical people in ethnic minority and mountainous areas in the commune participated in the training.

Accordingly, students are equipped with basic knowledge on socio -economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas, regulations and policies for ethnic minority and mountainous areas; legal regulations related to solidarity between ethnic groups, community culture, beliefs, religions, and poverty reduction. At the same time, knowledge on the struggle and refuting of the distorted arguments of hostile forces that take advantage of ethnic and religious issues to sabotage the revolution in the current period is disseminated.

Through the training conference, the trainees were able to improve their capacity and promote their role as the core force in communication work, disseminating policies and laws in the locality, contributing to the effective implementation of the National Target Program on socio-economic development of ethnic minority and mountainous areas in the province and building the great national unity bloc in the new situation.

According to the plan, from September 17 to 24, the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions will continue to organize training on this content in the eastern communes of the province including: Suoi Trai, Ea Ly, Ea Ba, Xuan Lanh and Phu Mo.
