Donated 129 million VND to support flood victims from the Ca Mau Charity Pickleball Tournament

On the afternoon of December 2, Mr. Tran Quoc Su, Chairman of Ca Mau Business Club, Chairman of Ca Mau Pickleball Forum, and Mr. Ngo Minh Quyen, Deputy Secretary of the Youth Union of the Provincial Party Committee, directly presented 129 million VND to the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ca Mau province.

This is the amount of money raised from the Charity Pickleball Tournament to support people in provinces affected by storms and floods.

Ms. Vo Thi Ngoc Han, Vice President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ca Mau province, said: As of the afternoon of December 1, the total resources mobilized and received by Ca Mau province to support people in disaster areas were more than 14.6 billion VND.

In addition to supporting people in provinces affected by storms and floods, the provincial Fatherland Front is also urgently reviewing and caring for households in the province affected by high tides and natural disasters, with a total relief fund of over 3 billion VND.

We also look forward to the long-term support of organizations and individuals in the province's social security programs such as building houses for poor households, developing sustainable livelihood models…”, Ms. Vo Thi Ngoc Han shared.

Previously, on November 29, the program "Towards the Central region" combined with the opening of the Charity Pickleball Tournament took place with the participation of many athletes, donors and social organizations. The event was jointly organized by the Ca Mau Pickleball Forum, the Ca Mau Young Entrepreneurs Association, the Ca Mau Business Club and the Provincial Party Delegation, to raise emergency funds to help people in flood-affected areas overcome difficulties soon.

The program has the meaning of connecting love, adding strength to solidarity between the business community, sports players and people across the country towards the beloved Central region.
