1300 Tet gifts were distributed in A Vuong commune, Hung Son commune, and to workers in difficult circumstances.

DNO - On February 8th, the program "Giving Tet Gifts for the Year of the Horse 2026 - Connecting Da Nang, Spreading Love" distributed 1,300 gift packages to residents of A Vuong commune, Hung Son commune, and disadvantaged workers in the Da Nang High-Tech Park and industrial zones.

Attending the gift-giving ceremony in A Vuong commune were Le Tri Thanh, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city, and Doan Ngoc Hung Anh, Vice Chairman of the City People's Council.

This activity aims to jointly help disadvantaged people in the western mountainous areas of Da Nang city who suffered losses after the historic natural disasters at the end of 2025, support poor workers in Da Nang High-Tech Park and industrial zones to have a warm and joyful traditional Tet holiday; and at the same time actively contribute to the cause of protecting, caring for and improving the health of the people.

The program was organized by the Central Region Representative Office of the Voice of Vietnam (VOV Central Region) in coordination with the 5th Military Region Command, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city... and other participating units and businesses.

The program also received active contributions from many charitable organizations and businesses such as: Thien Tam Foundation; Da Nang Port; Agribank Central Region Office; Duy Tan University; Meliwa Electronics Co., Ltd. (BIN Group); Quang Nam College; WATEC Water Resources Engineering Consulting and Development Joint Stock Company.

The program distributed 1,300 Tet gifts to residents of A Vuong and Hung Son communes, as well as disadvantaged workers in the Da Nang High-Tech Park and industrial zones.

The total value of Tet gifts in the program is approximately 1.5 billion VND. In addition, Agribank Central Region provided 4.5 tons of rice to 700 poor households in the two border communes of Hung Son and A Vuong.

Through a series of activities including giving Tet gifts, connecting with love in the Spring of the Year of the Horse 2026, providing advanced medical examinations and dispensing medicine; cardiovascular screening; and supporting poor households with rice in the western border area of Da Nang city, VOV Central Vietnam and its partners hope to bring a warm and loving Tet holiday to disadvantaged people and poor workers in the new spring season.
