At the event, participating units distributed 200 gift packages, each worth 1 million VND, including 500,000 VND in cash and essential supplies, to residents of Phuoc Thanh commune affected by natural disasters.
In addition, the City's Charity and Child Protection Association presented 37 sets of smart logos to local preschool students.
Speaking at the event, Doan Xuan Hieu, Editor-in-Chief of Da Nang Newspaper, Radio and Television, expressed his deep sympathy and offered sincere condolences and encouragement to the people of Phuoc Thanh commune who have suffered significant losses and difficulties due to natural disasters in recent times.
At the same time, it was stated that, in the past period, Da Nang Newspaper and Radio and Television have closely coordinated with the City's Charity and Child Protection Association and related units, actively accompanying all levels and sectors in social welfare work. In particular, they have implemented many charitable activities to support people in mountainous, remote, and disadvantaged areas.
