At the ceremony, SYS Vietnam - a public service unit under the Vietnam Youth Union awarded 500 "Digital Economy Startup" scholarships worth 5 billion VND to students of Hanoi National University within the framework of the Project "Improving digital business capacity for 20 million Vietnamese youth" implemented by SYS Vietnam and TikTok, in coordination with the Center for E-commerce and Digital Technology Development, Department of E-commerce and Digital Economy, Ministry of Industry and Trade .

Enhancing digital capacity for students in the new era
Speaking at the opening ceremony of the program, Mr. Nguyen Phan Huy Khoi - Director of the Vietnam Youth Startup Support Center - emphasized: "We want to build the Youth Creative Space to become a place of inspiration for students, where they can learn, practice and nurture startup ideas associated with digital transformation, e-commerce and creative economy ."
According to Mr. Khoi, the formation of the Creative Space model in universities is an important part of the Project "Improving digital business capacity for 20 million Vietnamese youth" - a nationwide program to bring digital business knowledge, skills and thinking closer to young people, especially students.
The ceremony took place in a vibrant atmosphere, with the participation of comrade Nguyen Tuong Lam - Secretary of the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union, representatives of the Department of E-commerce and Digital Economy (Ministry of Industry and Trade), along with teachers, experts, businesses and hundreds of students of Hanoi National University.

This is considered one of the typical activities of the ecosystem of the Project "Improving digital business capacity for 20 million Vietnamese youth" - a joint program between SYS Vietnam and TikTok Vietnam, aiming to accompany young people on the path of integration and development of digital capacity.
Speaking at the event, comrade Nguyen Tuong Lam highly appreciated the results that the Project has achieved in recent times, affirming that the cooperation between SYS Vietnam and CSS is a typical model connecting youth organizations, schools and businesses in implementing initiatives to support students' comprehensive development.
“The activities of the Project have demonstrated the spirit of innovation, creativity and dedication of young people in the digital age. I believe that the Youth Creative Space will not only be a place to study but also an environment for experience, start-ups and idea incubation - where students of Hanoi National University are inspired to master the future, promote the vanguard spirit of the youth force to achieve the goal of digital transformation, promote the development of Vietnam's digital economy in the new era" comrade Nguyen Tuong Lam shared.

Long-term cooperation and scholarships worth 5 billion VND
Within the framework of the ceremony, SYS Vietnam and CSS signed a Cooperation Agreement for the period 2025-2030, agreeing to implement a series of programs to support students in the field of startups and digital economy. According to the agreement, the two sides will jointly exploit and operate the "Young Creative Space" at Hanoi National University, and organize training courses, seminars, innovation competitions and programs connecting businesses with students.
In particular, the SYS Vietnam Center announced the awarding of 500 Digital Economy Startup scholarships, each worth 10 million VND, totaling 5 billion VND, for students of Hanoi National University. These scholarships are part of the study and startup incentive fund initiated by the Project "Improving digital business capacity for 20 million Vietnamese youth", aiming to create conditions for students to access reality, improve skills, and practice startups on digital platforms.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Vu Van Thang - Party Secretary, Director of the Student Support Center of Hanoi National University - expressed his thanks and highly appreciated the practical significance of the program: "The scholarship is not only financial support but also a strong spiritual encouragement for students, helping them have more opportunities to learn, innovate and start a business in the digital age. CSS will closely coordinate with SYS Vietnam to ensure the implementation and use of scholarships effectively, transparently and for the right subjects."

Representative of the state management agency, Mr. Bui Huy Hoang - Deputy Director of the Center for E-commerce and Digital Technology Development (Department of E-commerce and Digital Technology, Ministry of Industry and Trade) - said that the cooperation model between youth organizations and universities is the right direction to realize the National Strategy on digital economic development. "Today's students are the digital workforce of the future. Training in e-commerce skills, content creation, and digital business needs to be promoted right from the university environment to create high-quality human resources to serve the development of the country," he emphasized.
Young creative space - a place to nurture entrepreneurial aspirations
The moment the delegates cut the ribbon to inaugurate the “Young Creative Space” ended the ceremony with the enthusiastic applause of the students. This new space is expected to become a center connecting students with businesses, experts and start-up investment funds, and is also a place for skill classes, experiential activities and training on digital transformation, e-commerce and creative communication.
Associate Professor Dr. Truong Ngoc Kiem - Party Secretary, Director of the High Technology and Innovation Park, Hanoi National University - said that Hanoi National University always encourages innovation activities, especially initiatives that help students access technology and start practical businesses. "The Young Creative Space will be a place where the intelligence, creativity and dedication of VNU students converge. Here, you will not only learn but also work, experiment, and more importantly, be inspired to start a business," he emphasized.

The event also demonstrates a new approach to university training – combining theory with practice, making startups and digital economy part of the student learning environment. After the signing ceremony, delegates, experts and students attended an intimate exchange, sharing experiences and cooperation opportunities in the fields of content creation and e-commerce.
