The semi-finals and finals of the “AI Hackathon 2025 - Creating Digital Life” competition, organized by the Department of Science and Technology of Ho Chi Minh City in collaboration with KDI Education, took place on the afternoon of November 28 at the Ho Chi Minh City Center for Creative Entrepreneurship.

The contest is within the framework of the Ho Chi Minh City Innovation, Science and Technology and Creative Startup Week 2025.

AI Hackathon 2025 was launched in October 2025, attracting nearly 400 teams in Ho Chi Minh City with three competition groups for primary school students (group A), middle school students (group B) and high school students (group C).

With the theme “Artificial Intelligence for Life”, the AI ​​Hackathon 2025 playground creates opportunities for students to develop their creative thinking, programming skills, and problem-solving thinking through creating products with AI applications.

After a day of dramatic and creative competition, the judges found the best teams in all three groups. This year's outstanding projects all showed the students' remarkable maturity in approaching and applying artificial intelligence to solve practical social problems.

Group A (AI Codings), the championship prize belongs to team A119 from Vo Thi Sau Primary School (Phu Thanh ward) with the project "AI Prism". The product applies AI to detect fraudulent links and messages.

In Group B (AI Robotics), witnessed the breakthrough of alliance B102 - Nguyen Gia Thieu Secondary School (Phuoc Thang ward) and B069 - Phuoc Hiep Secondary School (Tan An Hoi commune) after overcoming a series of fierce matches to win the championship with impressive scores.

Group C (AI Hackathon), team C021 - Binh Tan High School (Binh Tan ward) excellently won the championship with the project "Flood and landslide warning system using AI camera".

According to Mr. Pham Huynh Quang Hieu, Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology of Ho Chi Minh City, the teams participating in this year's AI Hackathon have demonstrated creative thinking and excellent competitive spirit. Not only have they created new products, but they have also aimed to solve current problems.

The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Science and Technology hopes that the contest will continue to expand in scale, becoming an annual technology playground to discover and nurture young talents in the field of artificial intelligence.
