From Quang Nam to Hanoi to receive the award, Mr. Tran Binh Phuong - the young author who won the Second Prize with the song Diplomatic Love Song shared his wish, from the perspective of young people, to bring a youthful and fresh image of the Diplomatic sector, contributing to helping the young generation love and be proud of the sector.
“Diplomacy is the art of ingenuity, a bridge that helps Vietnam get closer to international friends. I hope to use music as a soft bridge to spread the image of the friendly, rich-in-identity Vietnamese country and people to the world,” said Mr. Phuong.
The most touching story is that of little Ve, who came from Da Nang to Hanoi to replace her late father – author Nguyen Duy Khoi, who composed the song “Glory of the Diplomatic Sector of Vietnam” which won third prize in the contest. She shared that during his lifetime, her father often participated in composing and performing arts, especially songs praising his homeland and country.
“When his family received the news that his song won the award, he was no longer with us. We are extremely proud and grateful to the Organizing Committee for creating an opportunity for him to express his love for his homeland and country. This is his last mark and also his last passion in life,” she said emotionally.
