Speaking at the ceremony, Director Doan Hoang Minh congratulated Mr. Alexander Sidoruk on his new position, believing that with his extensive experience, the new Consul General will make effective and practical contributions to the Vietnam - Belarus Strategic Partnership, especially in consular cooperation.
The Director of the Consular Department affirmed that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Consular Department and Ho Chi Minh City Department of Foreign Affairs) as well as Vietnamese authorities will always accompany the Consulate General and create favorable conditions for the new Consul General to successfully complete his term of office in Vietnam.
Director Doan Hoang Minh hopes that the two sides will continue to closely coordinate, facilitate exchanges and travel between the two countries and further deepen cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
For his part, Mr. Alexander Sidoruk thanked Director Doan Hoang Minh for taking the time to receive and present the Consular Acceptance Certificate, and expressed his joy at the good developments in bilateral relations, especially the two countries establishing a Strategic Partnership in May 2025.
The new Consul General of Belarus in Ho Chi Minh City emphasized that during his term, he will continue to promote bilateral cooperation in priority areas such as economic, cultural, political and consular cooperation, people-to-people exchange, and travel between the two countries.
