In various localities, Ms. Ton Thi Ngoc Hanh, President of the Lam Dong Provincial Association for the Promotion of Learning, along with leaders of the Association and representatives of the Party committees and local authorities of the communes, awarded 70 scholarships, each worth 1 million VND, to students from disadvantaged backgrounds who have overcome difficulties and achieved good academic results.
This funding is drawn from the Vietnam Children's Protection Fund to help share and encourage students from disadvantaged backgrounds to continue striving to overcome difficulties and excel in their studies.

During the program, students, teachers, and parents also listened to representatives from the PA05 Department (Cybersecurity and High-Tech Crime Prevention Department) of the Lam Dong Provincial Police disseminate information on methods and tricks used to defraud and steal property online. In particular, they discussed the newly emerging tactic of online kidnapping.

The aim is to equip students with basic knowledge to prevent, detect, and report crimes, helping them improve their online safety knowledge and contributing to protecting them and their families in cyberspace.

According to the plan, on January 14th, the scholarship program for disadvantaged students and cybersecurity awareness campaign will continue to be held in Thuan An commune, Lam Dong province. The program will award 40 scholarships to 40 poor, academically excellent students from Thuan An, Dak Mil, Duc Lap, and Dak Sak communes.
