(HTV) - Organizing the handover of financial support to wounded and sick soldiers on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the Day of Wounded Soldiers and Martyrs.

The program provides financial support to wounded and sick soldiers.

Recently, the Ho Chi Minh City Association for Supporting Families of Martyrs and War Invalids, in coordination with the Foreign Service Agency (FOSCO) and the People's Committees of Can Gio, Binh Khanh, and An Thoi Dong communes, organized a program to provide financial support to war invalids and sick soldiers in these communes.

At the People's Committee of Can Gio Commune, the organizing committee presented financial assistance to five war invalids and sick soldiers in Can Gio, Binh Khanh, and An Thoi Dong communes, with each household receiving 24 million VND. All recipients are war invalids and sick soldiers from disadvantaged families facing numerous obstacles in their daily lives. This financial assistance not only helps alleviate their economic burden but also demonstrates the deep concern and gratitude of the government and partner organizations towards those who sacrificed their lives for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland.

Ms. Mai Truc Dao, Deputy Head of the Office of Foreign Service Agency Co., Ltd. (FOSCO), stated that the program is an opportunity for the company to fulfill its social responsibility and continue the spirit of Official Letter No. 5133/UBND-KT regarding support and care for wounded and sick soldiers. She also expressed her hope that the program will continue so that FOSCO can have the opportunity to continue its partnership.

On this occasion, the delegation visited and offered incense to commemorate the heroic martyrs at the Rung Sac Heroic Martyrs' Memorial Temple. In a solemn atmosphere, the delegates expressed their profound gratitude to the soldiers who fought and sacrificed for the cause of protecting the Fatherland.
