This house was given to Ms. Huynh Diem Kieu, a member of the Trade Union of Ngoc Hien Regional Medical Center. Her family has 5 members, including a young child and a mother-in-law with poor health, so the construction cost is difficult. Thanks to the support of 50 million VND from the "Trade Union Shelter" Fund and the family's contribution, the 75 m² prefabricated house was completed, ensuring the family's living conditions.
Ms. Kieu was moved: “I am very happy and grateful for the attention and support of the Trade Union at all levels. The new house is a great source of encouragement that helps me feel secure in my work.”
Leaders of Ca Mau Provincial Labor Federation, Nam Can Commune Labor Union and Ngoc Hien Regional Medical Center Labor Union handed over the Union Shelter house to union member Huynh Diem Kieu.
Speaking at the handover ceremony, Ms. Huynh Ut Muoi, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ca Mau province, Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation, affirmed: “The Trade Union Shelter Program is a key activity, aiming to take care of union members’ lives. I hope the new house will help the family stabilize, feel secure in working and complete their tasks well. In the coming time, the Provincial Labor Federation will continue to mobilize resources to support more union members in difficulty.”
Mr. Nghe Phuoc Nghiep, Chairman of the Trade Union of Ngoc Hien Regional Medical Center, presented a housewarming gift to Ms. Kieu.
Since the beginning of 2025, the Ca Mau Provincial Federation of Labor has supported 71 union members with housing difficulties, with a total budget of nearly 3.2 billion VND, contributing practically to helping union members stabilize their lives and feel secure at work.
