Giving savings books to 80 teachers in border communes

On the evening of November 13, in Hanoi, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union (VYU) coordinated with Thien Long Group to present 80 savings books, each worth 10 million VND, to teachers participating in the program "Sharing with teachers" in 2025 and award the program "Press Sharing with teachers".

Attending the program were Mr. Nguyen Kim Quy, Member of the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union, Permanent Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union; Mr. Pham Tuan Anh, Deputy Director of the Department of Teachers and Educational Management Staff ( Ministry of Education and Training ); Mr. Trinh Van Hao, Director of External Communications of Thien Long Group; and 80 teachers from border communes nationwide.

Regarding the "Sharing with Teachers" program in 2025, the organizing committee announced that after more than two months of implementation since July 30, 2025, they have received 263 applications from exemplary teachers from 22 provinces, cities, and the Border Guard. On October 15, 2025, the selection committee met and finalized the list of 80 outstanding exemplary teachers to participate in the "Sharing with Teachers" program in Hanoi .

Accordingly, there are 36 teachers and border guard officers who are ethnic minorities. The oldest teacher is Ms. Tran Thi Thao (born in 1969), who works at Dao San Ethnic Boarding Primary School, Dao San Commune, Lai Chau Province (23 years of service). The youngest teacher is Ms. Vuong Thi Tuoi (born in 1997), who works at Ban Diu Ethnic Boarding Primary School, Xin Man Commune, Tuyen Quang Province (5 years of service).

At the event, the organizers presented gifts and savings accounts to 80 delegates attending this year's program.

In addition, the Organizing Committee also awarded prizes for the "Sharing with Teachers" Journalism Program. After the launch period, the Organizing Committee received 29 entries from central and local news agencies. The Judging Panel selected 1 First Prize, 1 Second Prize, 1 Third Prize, and 5 Consolation Prizes. The two-part series "Sowing the Seeds of Knowledge in Border Regions: A Journey of Steadfastness and Love" by author Nguyen Thi Thu Huong (Dai Doan Ket Newspaper) was awarded a Consolation Prize.

Earlier that afternoon, the teachers participating in the program were met by leaders from the Ministry of Education and Training, who offered encouragement and shared their difficulties.

The awards ceremony for teachers participating in the "Sharing with Teachers" Program in 2025 will take place at the Vietnam Youth Academy on the evening of November 14th.
