Awarding extraordinary rewards to groups and individuals with brave actions to save people

On the afternoon of November 12, the People's Committee of Bac Nha Trang Ward organized a surprise award ceremony for the Cau Bong Border Guard Station and Phan Nguyen Anh Khoi (11th grade student, Le Thanh Ton Private High School, Bac Nha Trang Ward) who promptly coordinated to save the young man who jumped off Tran Phu Bridge on the night of November 9.

Mr. Le Dai Duong - Chairman of Bac Nha Trang Ward People's Committee awarded certificates of merit to Cau Bong Border Guard Station and Phan Nguyen Anh Khoi.

Previously, at around 10:30 p.m. on November 9, Cau Bong Border Guard Station received a report that a man suddenly jumped into the sea in the middle of Tran Phu Bridge. Immediately, the Station Chief dispatched a rescue canoe and 10 officers and soldiers to the scene; at the same time, mobilized the vehicles of Mr. Phan Tan Phat and his son, Phan Nguyen Anh Khoi, to join the search within a 500m radius around the area. At around 11:00 p.m. on the same day, the coordinated forces discovered the victim struggling at the foot of the bridge, quickly approached, and brought him safely to shore. The victim was identified as Mr. D.VNC (born in 1988, residing in Tay Nha Trang ward), whose health was stable.

The timely and brave actions of the Border Guard force and local people to save a drowning person demonstrated a noble gesture, contributing to spreading the spirit of humanity in the community.
