Accordingly, the delegation gave each school 50 million VND to help them overcome the consequences of the storm and flood. The entire amount was raised from donors and staff of Khanh Hoa Newspaper, Radio and Television.

Party Secretary and Chairman of Phu Mo Commune People's Council, Bui Xuan Cuong, said that due to the recent storm and flood, the entire commune had 1,317 houses damaged by flooding, of which 4 houses completely collapsed. 4 schools were flooded from 2 to 3 meters, causing teaching equipment and desks to be swept away and completely damaged.
Transport, medical , electricity and telecommunication infrastructure were also severely damaged. Up to now, the northern part of the commune still has no electricity and the telecommunication system has not been restored. The total damage is estimated at nearly 250 billion VND.
