Over 1,000 athletes participate in the "Golden season among the clouds of Ban It" race

The "Golden season among the clouds of Ban It" race is not only a sports activity, but also a journey to experience the majestic natural beauty, immerse yourself in the brilliant yellow color of the ripe rice fields of Ban It, honor the labor values and traditional culture of the ethnic minorities in the highlands; create a new highlight in the series of annual tourism events, build a friendly and attractive destination brand.

This is a sports and cultural activity within the series of events promoting Muong La tourism in 2025, with the participation of over 1,000 athletes from agencies, units, businesses, schools and sports clubs. Athletes compete in two events: male and female individual, distance of 6 km. The route is at an altitude of about 1,300m, starting point at Huoi Ai bridge, It village to Sam Sip peak, Muong La commune.

On the running route, athletes can admire the beauty of It village in late autumn, from the traditional stilt houses nestled on the mountainside; the winding, curving roads; the long clouds like white silk strips, to the terraced fields stretching down the valley, attracting a large number of sports and adventure tourism lovers.

At the relay points, the Organizing Committee has arranged signs, medical and security forces to ensure absolute safety for participants. Cultural and culinary booths and many unique check-in points on the running route have left unforgettable impressions on people and tourists with memorable experiences with commemorative photos of "Golden season in the clouds of Ban It" in 2025.

As a result, the Organizing Committee awarded 2 first prizes, 2 second prizes, 2 third prizes and encouragement prizes to athletes with high achievements in both male and female categories. At the same time, a prize was awarded to the oldest athlete participating in the race.
